James Barnard

James Barnard received his bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance and his Master’s Degree in Church Music. He is a member of the staff of Celebrating Grace, Inc. as Director of Publications. In his role, he oversees the production and creative side of the company, including writing, arranging, editing, producing, and representing the company at various conferences. Before Celebrating Grace, James was a Church Choral Editor for Shawnee Press & Hal Leonard.

In addition to music publishing, James has also served as minister of music for churches in Georgia, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. He is currently the Accompanist and Handbell Director at his church.  He and his wife, Andrea (also a musician), are developing a children’s choir in the area. They are passionate about training the next generation of worshippers to love and glorify God through music.

James currently lives in northeast GA with Andrea and their two teenage children. When he’s not making music, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching baseball, gardening, and trout fishing.
